How do I set up my restaurant?
When you first sign up, you'll be prompted to create your restaurant:
- Enter your restaurant name
- Your unique URL (slug) is automatically generated
- Click Create Restaurant
You can customize additional settings later in Settings > Restaurant.
How do I change my restaurant name?
To update your restaurant name:
- Go to Settings > Restaurant
- Edit the Restaurant Name field
- Click Save Changes
Note: Changing your name doesn't change your menu URL. The URL slug remains the same for consistency.
What is a restaurant slug/URL?
Your restaurant slug is the unique identifier in your menu URL. For example, if your slug is marios-pizzeria-a1b2c3, your menu URL would be:
quickmenu.app/m/marios-pizzeria-a1b2c3
The slug is automatically generated from your restaurant name with a unique code to ensure it's one-of-a-kind.
How do I upload my restaurant logo?
To add or change your logo:
- Go to Settings > Restaurant
- Click on the logo area or Upload Logo
- Select an image file (PNG, JPG, or WebP recommended)
- The logo uploads automatically
For best results:
- Use a square image (1:1 aspect ratio)
- Minimum 200x200 pixels recommended
- Keep file size under 2MB
How do I set my currency?
To change the currency displayed on your menu:
- Go to Settings > Restaurant
- Find the Currency dropdown
- Select your preferred currency (USD, EUR, GBP, etc.)
- Click Save Changes
All prices on your menu will display in the selected currency.
Can I customize my brand color?
Yes, Professional plan users can customize their menu's accent color:
- Go to Settings > Restaurant
- Find the Brand Color option
- Select a color using the color picker
- Click Save Changes
This color will be used for highlights, buttons, and accents on your public menu.
What settings are available for my restaurant?
You can configure the following in Settings > Restaurant:
- Restaurant Name: Your business name displayed on the menu
- Logo: Your restaurant's logo image
- Currency: The currency for displaying prices
- Brand Color: Accent color for your menu (Professional plan)
- Enable Basket: Allow customers to add items to a cart (Professional plan)
How do I enable the shopping basket feature?
The shopping basket allows customers to select multiple items:
- Go to Settings > Restaurant
- Toggle Enable Basket on
- Click Save Changes
Note: This feature is only available on the Professional plan.
Can I have different settings for different times of day?
Currently, QuickMenu uses a single set of settings for your restaurant. You can organize your menu using categories to separate breakfast, lunch, and dinner items, but the overall settings remain consistent.
How do I transfer my restaurant to another account?
Restaurant transfers between accounts are not currently supported through the dashboard. If you need to transfer ownership, please contact support@presto-menu.it for assistance.
