How do I update my profile?

To update your personal information:

  1. Log in to your QuickMenu dashboard
  2. Click on your name in the top-right corner
  3. Select Profile
  4. Update your name or email address
  5. Click Save

If you change your email address, you'll need to verify the new email before it takes effect.

How do I change my password?

To change your password:

  1. Go to Settings > Password
  2. Enter your current password
  3. Enter and confirm your new password
  4. Click Update Password

For security, we recommend:

  • Using at least 8 characters
  • Including uppercase and lowercase letters
  • Adding numbers and special characters
  • Not reusing passwords from other sites

I forgot my password. How do I reset it?

If you can't remember your password:

  1. Go to the login page
  2. Click Forgot your password?
  3. Enter your email address
  4. Check your inbox for the reset link
  5. Click the link and create a new password

The reset link expires after 60 minutes for security. If it expires, request a new one.

How do I enable two-factor authentication (2FA)?

Two-factor authentication adds an extra layer of security:

  1. Go to Settings > Two-Factor Authentication
  2. Click Enable
  3. Scan the QR code with an authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Authy, 1Password, etc.)
  4. Enter the 6-digit code from your app to confirm
  5. Important: Save your recovery codes in a secure place

After enabling 2FA, you'll need to enter a code from your authenticator app each time you log in.

What if I lose access to my authenticator app?

If you lose access to your authenticator app:

  1. Use one of your recovery codes to log in
  2. Each recovery code can only be used once
  3. After logging in, disable 2FA and set it up again with your new device

How do I disable two-factor authentication?

To disable 2FA:

  1. Go to Settings > Two-Factor Authentication
  2. Enter your current password to confirm your identity
  3. Click Disable

You can re-enable 2FA at any time.

How do I change my language?

To change the interface language:

  1. Go to Settings > Language
  2. Select your preferred language (English or Italian)
  3. The change takes effect immediately

Note: This changes the QuickMenu interface language, not your menu content.

How do I change the appearance/theme?

To switch between light and dark mode:

  1. Go to Settings > Appearance
  2. Choose Light, Dark, or System (follows your device settings)
  3. The change applies immediately

Can I have multiple restaurants on one account?

Currently, QuickMenu supports one restaurant per account. If you manage multiple restaurants, you'll need separate accounts for each. Multi-restaurant support is planned for a future update.

How do I delete my account?

To permanently delete your account:

  1. Go to Settings > Profile
  2. Scroll to the Delete Account section
  3. Click Delete Account
  4. Enter your password to confirm
  5. Click Delete to confirm

Warning: This action is permanent and cannot be undone. All your data will be permanently deleted, including:

  • Your restaurant profile
  • All menu categories and items
  • All uploaded images
  • Analytics data
  • Subscription information

Is my data secure?

Yes, we take security seriously:

  • All data is transmitted over HTTPS (encrypted)
  • Passwords are hashed using industry-standard algorithms
  • Two-factor authentication is available for additional security
  • We perform regular security updates
  • Payment information is handled securely by Stripe (we never see your card details)
