What analytics does QuickMenu provide?
QuickMenu tracks how customers interact with your digital menu:
- Page Visits: How many times your menu was viewed
- Unique Visitors: Number of individual customers
- Items Viewed: Which menu items customers look at
- Cart Activity: Items added to and removed from baskets (Professional plan)
These insights help you understand what's working and what customers are interested in.
Where do I find my analytics?
To view your analytics:
- Log in to your QuickMenu dashboard
- The main dashboard shows key statistics
- Use the time period selector to change the date range
You'll see summary cards and charts showing your menu's performance.
What time periods can I view?
You can view analytics for different time ranges:
- Today: Current day statistics
- Last 7 Days: Weekly overview
- Last 30 Days: Monthly performance
- Last 90 Days: Quarterly trends
- Custom Range: Select specific dates
Use the dropdown at the top of the dashboard to change the time period.
What do the different metrics mean?
Page Visits The total number of times your menu pages were loaded. One customer visiting 3 pages counts as 3 page visits.
Unique Visitors The number of individual devices that accessed your menu. Multiple visits from the same phone count as one unique visitor.
Items Viewed How many times customers clicked on individual menu items to see details.
Cart Additions How many items were added to shopping baskets (Professional plan with basket enabled).
Which metrics are most important?
Focus on these key metrics:
- Unique Visitors - Shows your reach
- Items Viewed - Shows engagement
- Top Items - Shows what's popular
If you have the basket feature enabled, also watch:
- Cart additions vs. views (conversion indicator)
- Most added items (customer favorites)
What charts are available?
The dashboard includes several visualizations:
- Page Visits Over Time: Line chart showing traffic trends
- Top Items: Bar chart of most viewed menu items
- Sessions: Chart showing unique visitor patterns
- Cart Activity: Chart of basket additions/removals (Professional plan)
Charts help you spot trends and patterns.
How do I see which items are most popular?
The Top Items chart shows your most viewed menu items:
- Go to your Dashboard
- Find the "Top Items" section
- See a ranked list of items by view count
This helps you identify customer favorites and which items attract the most attention.
How accurate is the visitor tracking?
QuickMenu tracks visitors using standard web analytics methods:
- Each device/browser combination is counted as a unique visitor
- The same person using multiple devices counts as multiple visitors
- Private/incognito browsing may create new visitor sessions
- Bots and crawlers are filtered out where possible
The data gives a good approximation of customer interest, though it's not 100% precise.
Is customer data private?
Yes! QuickMenu respects customer privacy:
- We don't collect personal information from menu viewers
- No account or login required for customers
- We track aggregate statistics, not individual behavior
- No data is sold to third parties
We only show you anonymous, aggregated data about menu views and interactions.
How often do analytics update?
Analytics update in near real-time:
- New visits appear within minutes
- Summary statistics refresh frequently
- Charts update when you change time periods
You can refresh the page to see the latest data.
Can I export my analytics data?
Currently, analytics viewing is available through the dashboard only. Export features may be added in future updates.
For now, you can:
- Take screenshots of charts
- Note key statistics manually
- Check back regularly for trends

Why don't I see any data?
If your analytics show zero:
- New account: It takes a few visits before data appears
- No traffic yet: Share your QR code or menu link to get visitors
- Very recent: Data may take a few minutes to appear
- Check time period: Make sure you're viewing the right date range
Try sharing your menu link and visiting it yourself to verify tracking works.
How can I increase my menu visits?
To get more visitors to your digital menu:
- Place QR codes prominently on tables
- Add QR codes to takeout packaging
- Add the link to your Google Business profile
- Display it on your website
- Include it in any marketing materials
The more exposure your QR code and link get, the more visits you'll see.
